Organised by: Welsh Higher Education Brussels
Universities Wales, Welsh Higher Education Brussels and the Welsh Government in partnership with the Wales Arts and Humanities Alliance, part of the Wales Innovation Network, are delighted to invite you to a networking event on Wednesday 5 March 2025 from 16.00 – 18.00 at the Brussels Information Point (BIP), Rue Royale 2, Brussels as part of Wales’ St David’s Day celebrations.
This event offers the opportunity to meet and exchange with cultural heritage researchers from every Welsh university in advance of the proposed new Horizon Europe Partnership in Resilient Cultural Heritage. This new Partnership will focus on cultural heritage and the environment; cultural heritage and society; and the management of cultural heritage.
Find out more about research in these areas happening in Wales, meet researchers and network with key contacts from Wales and beyond. A diverse range of research areas will be featured including linguistic heritage and cultural identity in climate engagement contexts; heritage, communities and co-creation in de-industrialised places; living environmental stories for coastal resilience; and community engagement in sustainable environmental activities.
We hope you are able to join us and please RSVP including any dietary or access requirements by 24 February to: catherine.marston@uniswales.ac.uk
