Education and training in European territories with a lifelong learning perspective is essential to foster regional development. Therefore, building and reinforcing sustainable skills ecosystems rises as a key action to tackle these challenges and transform them into opportunities that promote social cohesion, human well-being and economic growth, in line with the EU Pillar of Social Rights and SDGs. This workshop will gather skills international experts from the EU and OECD, and regional representatives from the Basque Country, Brittany, Baden-Württemberg, Hordaland County Council, Varaždin County and Asturias who will present their insights and best practices to set up regional skills ecosystems.
