EU Regions Week 2022: Youth empowerment at the core of priorities!

The European Week of Regions and Cities, organised by the European Commission and the Committee of the Regions will take place from 10 to 13 October 2022. Under the motto: “new challenges for Europe’s cohesion”, the edition is focusing on four main themes: Green transition, Territorial cohesion, Digital transition and Youth empowerment. For this year’s edition, EARLALL and EfVET (European Forum of Technical and Vocational Education and Training) decided to join forces to co-organise two sessions:
- The first workshop, entitled: “Increasing the involvement of women in the VET sector at regional & local level” will take place on 11 October 2022 at 11.30 CET. The session aims to review the involvement of women in lifelong learning to overcome its significant gender gap.
- The second workshop will be dedicated the topic of empowerment and inclusion among young people at regional and local level. The session, taking place on 12 October at 9.30 CET, aims to empower young people and support the generation that will lead Europe’s future towards a greener, more inclusive and digital society.
