EUROPEAN COMMISSION - The Apprenticeship developments in Member States
The European Semester Country Reports 2016 show that a number of Member States are implementing apprenticeship reforms or actions plans. In France, Ireland and the UK, ambitious targets on increasing supply have been set, while Hungary, Portugal and Spain are building up their apprenticeship and have seen a strong increase in the offer. Quality, attractiveness and alignment with labour market needs are still key issues to be dealt with in a number of countries. Consult an overview of apprenticeship developments per country, based on the country reports.
